The protagonists of two different stories accidentally find themselves in the same situation, creating an intriguing contrast. The first character is "The Professor" – the leader of a gang of criminals. His nickname is no accident, as it combines both intelligence and cunning, allowing him to conduct complex criminal operations with great elegance and calculation. A completely different story unfolds when Anastazy Kowalski steps onto the scene – a man who accidentally becomes a criminal. After being fired from his job at a chemical laboratory, Kowalski goes to a bar for a so-called "one drink." Due to an unfortunate accident, he is mistaken for a trade inspection officer, which triggers completely unexpected changes in his life. He realizes he can exploit this mistake to enter various establishments and illegally obtain money by pretending to be an official. Initially unaware of the seriousness of his situation, Kowalski begins to repeat his "act," which leads to consequences. The film shows how the fates of these two characters, although fundamentally different – one a criminal by choice, the other by chance – can intertwine in unexpected ways, and how their actions influence the course of events.
