A comedy that lightheartedly and humorously portrays the absurd and unexpectedly eventful daily life in Warsaw during the Communist era. The film focuses on the small but frustrating difficulties faced by the city’s residents as well as newcomers, including a tourist from Italy, who also gets drawn into the absurd escapades. It all begins on a Monday morning when one of the restaurant’s guests, after a night out, tries to get home by tram. Unexpected circumstances lead to a series of comedic and surprising events. The film satirically comments not only on the social and political realities of the Communist era but also on the everyday struggles of ordinary people in a big city.
