The main character, a museum curator, faces a dramatic challenge: he is wrongfully accused of stealing a valuable painting. Due to the serious legal consequences, including the threat of a lengthy prison sentence, he decides to take drastic measures to clear his name. In a rather unconventional way, he hides from the pursuing authorities by disguising himself as a woman and taking a job as a housekeeper in a wealthy household. The situation turns out to be more complicated than he could have anticipated. Not only does he become a witness to complex family intrigues, but he also soon discovers that the role of a housekeeper, despite initial difficulties, can be surprisingly lucrative. After hours, he not only performs household duties but also works intensively on creating a copy of the missing artwork, hoping to return it to the museum and clear his name.
