A mysterious man appears in a provincial town, introducing himself as Kowalski - Malinowski. To the astonished residents, he tells different versions of his past: sometimes claiming he fought in a war, other times that he is in hiding and in danger. His false legend, full of contradictions, begins to affect the life of the settlement, bringing unrest and confusion. Soon, his presence disrupts the town’s established order, revealing the hidden fears and secrets of its inhabitants. The film shows how one ambiguous figure can shake the peaceful life of a community, altering its dynamics and creating an atmosphere of uncertainty and suspicion.
